The Salon
Is there parking at Beauty and Bubbles?
Unfortunately being in Manchester City Centre our salon doesn’t have any dedicated parking – sorry!
The closest on-street parking (payable) is on Paton Street. There is also an off-street car park (payable) at the bottom of Dale Street, opposite the Premier Inn. There is also a CitiPark multi-storey car park (also payable) located on Tariff Street close to Urban Exchange where Aldi and Pure Gym are located.
Do you accept cash?
No – sorry. We accept card payments only.
What is the access into the salon like?
There are 3 steps on the way into our salon. Being in a listed building, unfortunately we do not have any level access, sorry. If you do require any assistance please call the salon in advance of your arrival.
Do you have toilets?
Yes – we have two customer toilets, simply ask a member of staff to direct you.

Do you do gift cards/vouchers?
Yes! Simply click the button at the top of this page “Buy a Gift Voucher”. You can choose either a monetary value, or from a selected number of treatments where the value will be hidden on your voucher. The voucher can either be emailed to you, or to the person you are buying it for. This works 24/7/365 – perfect for a last minute gift.
Appointments
Do you have a minimum age for treatments?
Most of our treatments are not available to under 18’s. However we offer some treatments (mainly nails/pedicures) to under 18’s when accompanied by an Adult – please contact the salon to book these in. Please remember we are a licensed salon and alcohol is only available to over 18’s with proof of age.
Can I bring my child to the salon?
We do allow Children in our salon. However please bear in mind that our clients look forward to their appointments with us in an environment away from the stresses of general life. We are also a fully licensed premises and we also offer a range of relaxing treatments. For these reasons we do politely ask that you consider leaving Children at home if you can, however you can bring them to the salon if you wish/have no other options available.
Do you do couples appointments?
Yes – absolutely we can do two treatments at the same time. However, unfortunately we don’t have a treatment room large enough for two beds, so massage/facial treatments will be in two separate rooms. We do have nail desks and pedicure stations alongside each other however. Please contact the salon if you wish to book treatments for 2 or more people so we can ensure these are booked in at the same time.
My treatment needs a patch test, can I skip this?
Unfortunately not, sorry. You will need to have a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment. Patch tests are valid for 6 months so you will need to have had a tinting treatment or patch test within 6 months in order to avoid the requirement for a new patch test. We are a responsible salon, so for client safety we do not offer waivers/disclaimers against patch tests.
Do I need to book in for a patch test?
Whilst patch tests are mandatory for some of our tinting treatments, you do not need to make a specific appointment for your patch test. Just pop in any time during our opening hours and we will do this for you. Please note during busy periods there may be a short wait but we will get to you as quickly as we can. The whole patch test experience should take no longer than 5 minutes.
Is Beauty and Bubbles dog friendly?
Yes! We allow small-medium sized dogs in the salon for treatments which aren’t in a treatment room, and where your dog can be kept under control. This would normally be a nail or pedicure treatment. If in any doubt, please drop the salon an email.
I have additional needs, can I book an appointment?
We welcome a range of clients to our salon and endeavour to present a warm and welcoming atmosphere. That said, if you have additional requirements you feel we may need to be aware of, please contact us in advance of booking an appointment so we can tailor your salon experience accordingly.
Treatments
I already have BIAB from another salon on my nails - will I need this removed?
Yes, unfortunately we do not infill BIAB from other salons as we cannot guarantee that the BIAB is authentic “TGB” BIAB and that the quality will be as good as our own. Alongside your BIAB treatment please also book the “Removal – BIAB Full Set” treatment.
How long do your spray tans last?
If you look after your tan and follow our aftercare guidance, your tan should last 3-5 days.
I have an issue with a Treatment from Beauty and Bubbles
We’re so sorry to hear that! We want all of our customers to be 100% happy with their experience at our salon. Please get in touch with the salon as soon as you can. Sending us an email with a photo or two of the issue you have will allow us to respond quickest and remedy the situation, however you can also call us if you would prefer.
What is the difference between your Tanning products?
We use both St. Tropez and Sienna X Tanning products. The choice is totally yours! We would advise having a browse online to look at the shades of both tans to decide which suits your skin tone better. We can also help you decide on the day you come for your tan.
How long do I need to leave between waxing?

What is the difference between Classic Brow Sculpt Lamination and HD Brow Sculpt Lamination?
For Classic Brow Sculpt Lamination we lift the brows, then tint, wax and trim. HD brow sculpt lamination is undertaken by a fully trained and qualified HD brow therapist. The brows are lifted and tinted followed by a a discussion over what kind of shape you are wanting for your brows, and if you need to grow in any areas. The brows are then mapped and waxed into your desired shape, followed by threading and trimming if necessary. Finishing off the treatment we fill the brows in with natural brow makeup, in the areas where you would need growth. What to Expect After Your Microneedling Treatment
After your microneedling treatment, you might notice temporary redness and sensitivity, similar to slight sunburn, for 12 days. It’s crucial to care for your skin with proper aftercare:
- Avoid direct sunlight and always wear SPF.
- Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating products.
- Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after treatment.
- Refrain from harsh exfoliation or active ingredients for 5 days.
